I am an experienced editor with a wide-ranging knowledge of the Australian publishing industry and a passion for quality children’s literature. I have worked in publishing for over fifteen years as an editor, publisher, word wrangler and storytelling enthusiast.

I’m currently on maternity leave from my role as a children’s publisher at Allen & Unwin, which means I still spend my days reading picture books, but everything is a little bit stickier.

I’ve also worked in-house at almost every publishing company in Melbourne, including Text Publishing, Lonely Planet, Black Inc Books, Penguin, Five Mile Press and Kill Your Darlings, as well as the Centre for Youth Literature at State Library Victoria and the Emerging Writers’ Festival.

I’ve worked with a host of wonderful authors, including bestselling novelists and award-winning storytellers. Books I’ve worked on have won or been shortlisted for awards including the Prime Minister’s Literary Awards, the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards, the NSW Literary Awards, the Children’s Book Council of Australia Awards, the Australian Book Industry Awards and many more.
